Machine profitability
Revenue, costs and profit of individual machines and vehicles for the selected period.
The report shows how much each machine and vehicle earns and how much it costs. You will find it in the menu under Reports → Ziskovost strojů (Machine profitability). It belongs to the All for business tariff and only the administrator sees it in the menu, because it works with company-wide figures.
How to open the report
- Open Reports → Ziskovost strojů.
- Select the period. Without a selection, the report shows the period from the start of the year to today.
- With the Typ stroje (Machine type) filter you can show only machines, only vehicles (without trailers), or only trailers and semi-trailers (Přívěs / návěs (Trailer / semi-trailer)). The Typ (Type) column also marks a trailer that way.
What the report shows
At the top are three summary figures for all machines:
- Výnosy celkem (Total revenue) - billing rates × approved machine hours and kilometres,
- Náklady celkem (Total costs) - costs from work reports, trips and received invoices for the machine,
- Zisk celkem (Total profit) - revenue - costs.
Below them is a table with all the company's machines and vehicles:

What to set up for the report to work
- On the machine or vehicle card, fill in Nákladová sazba (h), or (km) - how much the machine costs you per hour or kilometre - and Zúčtovací sazba (h), or (km) - how much you charge the customer for it. See Machines.
- Workers must enter the machine in work reports including machine hours, and vehicles in trips with the odometer reading.
- Assign received invoices for repairs, servicing or fuel to a specific machine in the Stroj field, see Purchase invoices.
Revenue is calculated with the machine's current billing rate. Costs from work reports and trips, on the other hand, are calculated with the cost rate valid at the moment of approval, so a later change of the cost rate does not by itself recalculate costs that have already been approved.
