Utilization

Company+

An overview of how many hours people and machines have planned, who is overbooked and who is free.

Available for:AdministratorUser

You will find Utilization in the menu under Planning → Vytíženost (Utilization). It is calculated from the events in the Calendar and lets you quickly check whether someone is planned in two places at once and who still has free time. The page is visible to everyone who has access to Calendar in their Role. A user who is not an administrator sees only the events from their own plan.

How to read the table

The page has two tables: Osoby (People) and Stroje (Machines). At the top you switch the period between Den (Day), Týden (Week) and Měsíc (Month), move with the arrows, and the Dnes (Today) button returns to the current period.

  • Week and month - the columns are days, each cell contains the total of planned hours. The last column Σ h is the total for the whole period.
  • Day - the columns are the hours of the day, an occupied hour is green. For machines, the name is followed by who is assigned to the machine that day.
  • When you hover over a cell, you see which events it covers (name and project).

Cell colors:

ColorMeaning
Orangepartially utilized (less than 6 h)
Greenutilized (6 h or more)
Redoverbooked (10 h or more)

An all-day event counts as 8 hours.

Technical staff (THP)

A site manager or foreman often runs several projects at the same time. Their assignment as Pracovník THP (Technical staff member) therefore does not count as overbooking and their hours are not added up: three projects from 8 to 16 on the same day make 8 hours, not 24.

Who is free

The Jen nevytížení (Only non-utilized) button leaves in the tables only the people and machines that have at most the entered number of hours planned for the displayed period (the Σ h ≤ field, default 0 = nothing planned). The summary above the tables shows how many people and machines are not utilized in the period.

Where the data comes from

  • People from events of all types, including absences (vacation, sickness) and trips.
  • Machines from events of the Stavba (Construction) type (the Stroje field) and vehicles from trips.
  • A compact utilization overview for the displayed project is also available below the chart in Gantt.

Availability is also checked directly while planning: a person who has another event at that time cannot be selected as a worker in the Calendar, and on the Planning board they are shown in the panel as assigned or unavailable.
