Planning board
A daily and weekly board of projects: you drag people, machines and teams onto project cards with the mouse.
The Planning board is a board for the morning allocation of people and machines to projects. On the left is a panel with people, machines, teams and the project library, on the right the cards of the projects planned for the selected day. You plan into the same data as in the Calendar: a day card is an ordinary event of the Stavba (Construction) type, so whatever you plan here immediately appears in the Calendar, Gantt, Utilization and the mobile app as well - and vice versa, the board also shows events created elsewhere (for who sees what, see below).
Turning it on
The Planning board is optional. An administrator turns it on in Nastavení firmy → Plánování (Company settings → Planning) with the Plánovací okno (Planning board) switch. The Plánovací okno item then appears in the Planning menu.
The board is visible only to those who may edit the plan - the administrator and users who have at least editace vlastních (edit own) for Calendar in their Role. Workers who can only read the plan do not have it in their menu; they find their plan in the Calendar and in the mobile app.
The administrator sees the cards of the whole company on the board. Other users, even with the editace (edit) level, see only the cards of events they created themselves, events they are assigned to, or events from projects they lead (the same as in My calendar and in the mobile app). The Vidí plán celé firmy (Sees the whole company's plan) Role switch does not apply to the board. People and machines from cards you cannot see may be shown in the panel as free. With the editace level, you drag them onto your card and they are removed from those cards; with editace vlastních, the app refuses such a move because it would change a colleague's card. A project that has only a card you cannot see on that day is shown in the library with a plus, but the library will not add a new card for it. With the editace vlastních level, a user can change only the cards they created themselves; the others are read-only.
Controls
- Den (Day) / Týden (Week) - the daily board or a weekly overview by days. In the weekly view, the column that the left panel refers to is marked with the "panel" label. Clicking a day heading opens its daily view.
- You move with the arrows and the date picker; Dnes (Today) returns to the current day.
- Below the heading there is a summary of the day: the number of projects, people (of which free), machines (of which free) and, where applicable, the number of unavailable people and people in conflict.
Planning a day
- In the Knihovna staveb (Project library), search for a project and add it to the day with the plus button. A project that already has a card on that day shows a tick instead of the plus.
- From the Lidé, stroje a týmy (People, machines and teams) panel, drag people, machines or a whole team onto the card.
- On the card, fill in the machine operators, work times, tasks and a note.
Crews that go to the same jobs all week don't need to be planned again. The Převzít včerejšek (Copy yesterday) button copies the cards from the previous day to the displayed day (projects, times, notes, people, machines and operators). Nothing is overwritten: a project that already has a card on that day is skipped, and people with a vacation, sickness or another event are not copied. Anyone who is already on another project that day stays there.
Dragging people and machines
- A person or a machine can be in only one place per day. When you drag a worker to another project, they are removed from the other projects of that day. With the editace vlastních (edit own) level, you move people and machines only from your own cards: when a person or machine is on a colleague's card that day, the app refuses the move, and they can be moved by the author of that card or by someone with editace (edit) for Calendar in their Role.
- Pracovníci THP (Technical staff (THP)) are not moved - they run several projects at once, so the board only shows them, and dragging them to another project does not remove them from the original one.
- The panel shows who is already assigned that day and who is unavailable (vacation, sickness, trip, another event). An unavailable person can be dragged, but the warning stays visible.
- Dragging a team assigns the whole team. When you remove a team from a card, the manually assigned people stay.
Project card
The card shows:
- the project name and address, which opens in maps when clicked,
- the weather forecast for that day, if the project has a location set, with a warning of rain, strong wind or frost,
- the work time - it can be changed (Změnit časy práce (Change work times)) or set to all day,
- the assigned people, technical staff, teams and machines with the Obsluha stroje (Machine operator) option (only people authorized for the machine are offered),
- Úkoly (Tasks) - quick adding via the Přidat úkol… (Add task…) row; the tasks take over the people from the card,
- Poznámka (Note) - saved as the event comment.
The cross in the card header removes the project from that day. After confirmation, the whole event is deleted including the assignments and tasks, so it disappears from the Calendar too.
PDF
The PDF button creates an overview of the displayed day (in the weekly view, the whole week) with people, machines, tasks and notes - for printing or sending out to the crews.
