The Machinery module allows you to track all company equipment, monitor engine hours and assign machinery costs to projects.

Equipment tracking​

Each machine in the system has:

  • Name and license plate / identification
  • Machine type (excavator, truck, …)
  • Rate per hour or km
  • Engine hours history and project assignments

Engine hours monitoring​

Manual tracking​

Engine hours can be entered manually when creating a work report – select the machine and enter the number of hours.

Patriot integration​

eProtokol supports automatic data loading from the Patriot telematics unit. Engine hours are synchronized automatically in real time.

Adding a new machine​

  1. Go to Machinery
  2. Click + New Machine
  3. Fill in the name, type and identification
  4. Set the hourly/km rate
  5. Optionally add Patriot integration
  6. Save
Link to project costs

Machines assigned to a project are automatically reflected in project costs. The project dashboard shows how much machinery operation costs on each contract.

Automatic tracking with Patriot

With Patriot integration, engine hours are automatically downloaded from the telematics unit. No manual recording needed – data is accurate and up to date.
